First Visitor

Carol's friend Patty came to visit us for the weekend. It may have been English-quaint overkill with children's tea with Ian's headmaster (hosted by the ever-gracious Georgie Bennett), curry take-away, an antiques auction, country walks, a pub visit, punting on the Cam River, and fish 'n chips in Cambridge.  We had fun exploring our new surroundings.

Liz and Brooke Truslow are our next expected visitors and we can't wait!

Pre-Easter chocolate bunnies from P. Marie.

Mike's cousin Andrew on left pretending there is nothing at auction of interest, before scoring an antique pub game called skittles.  We could not believe how low the final bids were for everything on offer here.

Images of our town and the four-mile footpath trek along the River Nene, through crops, sheep poo, and rooster yards to end up in story-book Fotheringhay.  Home of the Falcon Pub - once owned and operated by Mike's uncle - and the site where Mary Queen of Scots lost her head.

When in Cambridge on a beautiful, sunny day, punt (or let someone do it for you).
